Installment #2 of Rosegold's Watson/Holmes pairing finds Watson distressed about his mishandling of the conclusion of their first encounter, and Holmes bold enough to arrange a repeat performance. It's a shame Rosegold doesn't dig more into the public dynamics of the couple in the social environment, opting instead to get her couple into a secret garden more quickly for play, and then a long, awkward, masculinized emotional conversation in which they discover they want more than sexual release from one another. The second half of the piece digs into relationship negotiation concerning Watson and his wife Mary as it relates to this new connection, which polyamorous relationship junkies may love, but others may find tedious in place of the drama of just recklessly proceeding. It will be interesting to see if Rosegold can maintain her Victorian feel if she really brings the men into a 21st century style open marriage dynamic.Product details
